The Role

SSL247 are looking for a Sales Territory Manager with proven experience in the UK market to join our growing, successful company; SSL247 is the market leader in SSL sales in the EMEA region. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious Sales Territory Manager to lead a successful and growing team in the growth area of SSL and associated web security sales. The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for managing a continuously-growing team of 4-6 within the UK team. There is scope for this team to double in size in the next 2-3 years. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded IT sales professional with excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure individual and team targets are accomplished at the end of each sales cycle
  • Support and coach each member of the team
  • Performance and development of direct reports
  • Team management and day-to-day follow-up
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closure
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Manage the process and submit forecasts, per deadlines
  • Manage and maintain a high level of client relations
  • Attend face to face customer meetings with the sales team
  • Develop, support and enable the team to successfully close deals and help the team as a whole reach the ‘next level’ of sales
  • Understand customer and team requirements
  • Close higher value partner and channel deals
  • Expert level and accurate pipeline management
  • Expertly demonstrate to the sales team on sales techniques
  • Ad-hoc projects, as assigned

Experience and Skills

  • Good knowledge of the IT industry
  • Excellent sales track record in selling IT products. Experience in selling web security products and/or hosting industry products (SSL, domain names, malware, etc) would be highly advantageous
  • This role requires an individual with a strong track record in sales of the above products and services looking to make the next step in their career and manage a larger team
  • Competitive mind, target orientated and money motivated
  • Experienced at working with both internal and external senior stakeholders
  • Native or equivalent written and spoken English skills; French would be advantageous
